Hereafter we list some monuments, museums and other attractions and how to reach them from Il Fiore di Roma bed and breakfast. The routes are only some suggestions, other routes exists; for any information on public transports please take a look on ATAC site (see Link page).
REMARK: with the ATAC ticket is possible to take one metro/train run.


We have classified the places as follows:

  • Ara Pacis**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) and get off at Venezia stop (terminus). Take one of the following lines: 492 towards "Cipro", 80 towards "Clodio", 628 towards "Maresciallo Giardino", 186 towards "Piazzale della Farnesina" and get off at Lungotevere Marzio stop.
  • Arco di Costantino**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the 3 line towards "Thorvaldsen" and get off at Colosseo stop.
  • Bioparco. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the 3 line towards "Thorvaldsen" and get off at Bioparco stop.
  • Campidoglio**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line or 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Ara Coeli/Piazza Venezia stop.
  • Castel Sant'Angelo (Mausoleo di Adriano)**. Take the 870 line towards "Paola" and get off at Lungotevere Sangallo/Perosi stop. In the holidays there is also the 180F line, take it  towards "Dalla Chiesa" and get off at Giulio Cesare/Ottaviano stop.
  • Chiesa del Gesł**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) and get off at Venezia stop (terminus).
  • Clinica Cittą di Roma. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Gianicolense/Dunant stop.
  • Colonna di Marco Aurelio**. Take the 719 line and get off at Zabaglia/Galvani stop; then take the 63 line towards "Pugliese" or 630 line towards "Largo Somalia" and get off at Corso/Minghetti stop.
  • Colosseo**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the 3 line towards "Thorvaldsen" and get off at Colosseo stop.
  • Fiera di Roma. Take the 711 line (the stop is in front of the B&B) and get off at Magliana nuova/Migioli stop; then take the urban train FR1 at Villa Bonelli station towards "Fiumicino Airport" and get off at Fiera di Roma station. Otherwise you can use the 719 line and get off at Stazione Magliana stop; then take the urban train FR1 at Magliana station.
  • Fontana di Trevi**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line or the 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Piazza Venezia stop.
  • Foro Romano**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line or 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Piazza Venezia stop.
  • Galleria Borghese**. Take the 719 line and get off at Zabaglia/Galvani stop; then take the 63 line towards "Pugliese" or 630 line towards "Largo Somalia" and get off at Po/Corso d'Italia stop.
  • Gianicolo*. Take the 870 line towards "Paola" and get off at Piazzale Garibaldi stop.
  • Istituto Regina Elena. Take the 31 line towards "Laurentina", get off at Boston stop, then take the 700 line towards "Chianesi" and get off at Chianesi stop (terminus).
  • Musei Capitolini**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line or 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Ara Coeli/Piazza Venezia stop.
  • Musei Vaticani**. Take the 31 line towards "Clodio" and get off at Cipro stop.
  • Museo nazionale Romano**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line or 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Ara Coeli/Piazza Venezia stop; take the 119 line and get off at Babuino/Fontanella stop.
  • Ospedale Pediatrico Bambin Gesu. Take the 870 line towards "Paola" and get off at S.Onofrio/Bambin Gesu stop.
  • Palalottomatica. Take the 31 line towards "Laurentina" and get off at Boston stop.
  • Palazzo Barberini**. Take the 719 line towards "Partigiani" and get off at Galvani/Ginori stop; the take the 83 line towards "L.go Valsabbia" and get off at Tritone/Barberini stop.
  • Palazzo della Cancelleria**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the 8 line towards "Piazza Venezia" and then get off at Arenula/Cairoli.
  • Palazzi Capitolini**. Take one the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line or 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Ara Coeli/Piazza Venezia stop.
  • Palazzo Farnese**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) and get off at Arenula/Min.G.Giustizia stop.
  • Palazzo Venezia**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line or 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Ara Coeli/Piazza Venezia stop.
  • Pantheon**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) and get off at Venezia stop (terminus).
  • Piazza Navona**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) and get off at Venezia stop (terminus).
  • Piazza S. Pietro**. Take the 870 line towards "Paola" and get off at Lungotevere Sangallo/Perosi stop. In the holidays there is also the 180F line, take it  towards "Dalla Chiesa" and get off at Giulio Cesare/Ottaviano stop.
  • Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere*. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) and get off at Belli stop.
  • Piazza del Popolo*. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) towards "Venezia" and get off at Venezia stop (terminus). Take the 119 circle lineand get off at Corso/Popolo stop. Otherwise: take the 719 line and get off at Cave Ardeatine stop; take the B/B1 metro line, get off at Termini station then take the A metro line and get off at Flaminio stop.
  • Pincio**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) and get off at Venezia stop (terminus). Take the 119 circle lineand get off at Babuino/Fontanella stop.
  • S. Agnese e S. Costanza**. Take the 719 line and get off at Cave Ardeatine stop; take the B line, get off at Bologna stop. Take the 93 line towards "Monte San Giusto" and get off at Eritrea/Annibaliano stop.
  • S. Clemente**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the 3 line towards "Thorvaldsen" and get off at Labicana stop.
  • S. Giovanni in Laterano**. Take the 719 line towards "Partigiani" and get off at Galvani/Zabaglia stop; then take the 673 line towards "Zama" and get off at Ferratella stop.
  • S. Ignazio*. Take the 719 line towards "Partigiani" and get off at Galvani/Ginori stop; the take the 83 line towards "L.go Valsabbia" and get off at Corso/Minghetti stop.
  • S. Lorenzo fuori le Mura**. Take the 719 line towards "Partigiani" and get off at Marmorata/Caio Cestio stop; then take the 3 line towards "Thorvaldsen" and get off at Verano stop.
  • S. Maria d'Aracoeli*. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line or 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Ara Coeli/Piazza Venezia stop.
  • S. Maria degli Angeli**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line and get off at Nazionale/Torino stop or 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Termini/Diocleziano stop.
  • S. Maria del Popolo**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station; take the H or the 170 line and get off at Ara Coeli/Piazza Venezia stop, then take the 119 line towards "Corso/Popolo" and get off at Babuino/Fontanella stop.
  • S. Maria in Trastevere**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) towards "Venezia" and get off at Belli stop.
  • S. Maria Maggiore**. Take the 719 line and get off at Cave Ardeatine stop; take the B/B1 metro line, get off at Termini station.
  • S. Maria sopra Minerva**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) towards "Venezia" and get off at Venezia stop.
  • S. Paolo fuori le Mura**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station; take the 766 line towards "Millevoi" and get off at Baldelli stop. Otherwise: take the 775 line and get off at Lgt.Inventori/Righi stop.
  • S. Pietro in Vaticano**. Take the 870 line towards "Paola" and get off at Lungotevere Sangallo/Perosi stop. In the holidays there is also the 180F line, take it  towards "Dalla Chiesa" and get off at Giulio Cesare/Ottaviano stop.
  • S. Pietro in Vincoli*. Take the 719 line and get off at Cave Ardeatine stop; take the B/B1 metro line, get off at Cavour station.
  • S. Sabina**. Take the 719 line towards "Partigiani" and get off at Marmorata/Caio Cestio stop.
  • Scuola di Polizia. Take the 31 line towards "Laurentina"  and get off at Boston stop; take the 706 line towards "Rotellini" and get off at Gigliozzi/Fantini stop. Otherwisetake the 771 line and get off at America stop (terminus); then take the 706 line.
  • Scuola di Polizia Penitenziaria. Take the 870 towards "Paola"  and get off at Gianicolense/Casaletto stop; take the 088 line towards "Zoo Grunwald" and get off at Brava/Pescaccio stop. Otherwise take the 31 line towards "Clodio" and get off at Colli Portuense/Gianicolense stop, then take the 088 line.
  • Stazione Muratella. Take the 711 line (the stop is in front of the B&B) and get off at Magliana nuova/Migioli stop; then take the urban train FR1 at Villa Bonelli station towards "Fiumicino Airport" and get off at Muratella station (2 stops). Otherwise you can use the 719 line and get off at Stazione Magliana stop; then take the urban train FR1 at Magliana  station (1 stop).
  • Stazione Termini. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere station, then take the H line or the 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini". Otherwise, take the 719  and get off at Cave Ardeatine stop; take the B/B1 metro line, get off at Termini station.
  • Stazione Tiburtina. Take the 711 line (the stop is in front of the B&B) and get off at Magliana nuova/Migioli stop, then take the urban train FR1 at Villa Bonelli station towards "Ortet" and get off at Tiburtina station. Otherwise you can use one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786, and get off at Trastevere Station, then take the railway line FR1.
  • Stazione Trastevere. Take one of the following line: 228 (terminus), 719 (get off at Gianicolense/Stazione Trastevere stop), 773 (terminus), 786 (terminus).
  • Teatro di Marcello*. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line or 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Ara Coeli/Piazza Venezia stop.
  • Terme di Caracalla**.  Take the 719 line and get off at Cave Ardeatine stop; take the 118 line towards "Lagonegro" and get off at Porta San Sebastiano/Numa Pompilio stop.
  • Trinitą dei Monti*. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station and take the 8 line (tram) and get off at Venezia stop (terminus). Take the 119 circle lineand get off at Spagna stop. Otherwise: take the 719 line and get off at Cave Ardeatine stop; take the B/B1 metro line, get off at Termini station then take the A metro line and get off at Spagna stop.
  • Via Appia Antica**. Take the 719 line and get off at Cave Ardeatine stop; take the 118 line towards "Lagonegro", that goes through the Appia Antica road.
  • Via dei Fori Imperiali**. Take one of the following lines: 228, 719, 773, 786 and get off at Trastevere Station; take the H line or 170 line (cross the street) towards "Termini" and get off at Piazza Venezia stop.
  • Via Vittorio Veneto*. Take the 719 line and get off at Cave Ardeatine stop; take the B/B1 metro line, get off at Termini station, then take the A metro line and get off at Barberini stop.
  • Villa Borghese**. Take the 719 line and get off at Cave Ardeatine stop; take the B/B1 metro line, get off at Termini station, then take the A metro line and get off at Flaminio stop.
